Water quality test results

The Holbrook Public Schools contracted an independent lab, (Northeast Environmental Laboratory, Inc.) to test the drinking water for PFAS. We are happy to report that the water fill stations will be turned back on beginning Monday January 24. The levels of PFAS in the drinking water were considered Non-Detect. PFAS were present in the water that was tested coming off the main. Therefore, the water fill station filtration is working effectively to reduce the presence of PFAS to a Non detectable amount. The Facilities department will change the filters at the water fill stations monthly rather than quarterly to ensure the continued safety of the water.  Please see the snapshot of the lab results below:
