The lawn and grounds portion of the school project is still owned by the landscape sub-contractor and has not yet been turned over to Holbrook Public Schools. Due to the timing of the seeding process in conjunction with the excessive heat, weeds have been an issue out on the front lawn area. Before the lawn is signed off and accepted, the weeds will be treated and an over-seeding process will occur in the fall when the weather is more conducive to seed germination.
