Survey on the Characteristics of High Performing Schools:

Dear Junior-Senior High School Parents/Guardians:

This survey is for parents/guardians of Junior-Senior High School students ONLY.

Please consider completing the following online survey on your perceptions concerning the nine key characteristics of high performing schools.  I am asking that you do this as part of my research study.  This study is part of a collection of data that will include students, teachers and parents.  This is one of two parts of data gathering.  This online survey will take approximately 10-12 minutes to complete AND is 100% confidential.

To begin the survey click Here.

All summarized information will eventually be forwarded to the School Committee for public discussion.  Thank you for taking the survey.

Welcome !

Dear Holbrook Public School Families:
This year is a very difficult year for the entire district for numerous reasons.  The economy has tanked, accountability standards continue to be placed on the district, and the lack of resources have lead us to make difficult decisions.  Yet, we start each school year with tremendous fortitude and strength in each other and the students who attend HPS.

The excitement, energy, and hope that is in the air leads us to believe that all the issues will be addressed.  We will work together as a community to provide for the children, the professional staff, and the requirements placed upon us by the taxpayers.

Although we have been a struggling district for a number of years, if not decades, we believe in HPS and the community of Holbrook.  We will care for your children, educate your children, and provide them with the education they so deserve.  We will do so with pride in where we work and with a sense of community.

We want our students to know how much it matters to us that they possess character, integrity and purpose.  We know that our students will someday graduate and leave us. In doing so, we want to have confidence that we have prepared them well to be trustworthy, hard-working, and honorable family men and women.

I am available at  Baeta @holbrook.k12.ma.us or at 781-767-1226 for comments, suggestions, and ideas.

Regards,
Joseph F. Baeta
Superintendent
