Overall, the Level Services Budget is for a 7.37% increase based on contractual obligations, new mandates and accountability requirements, and sustaining our current improvements.  This budget request allows for Holbrook Public Schools to maintain and extend services in all areas. We have also estimated grants and revolving accounts conservatively based on the implications of the “fiscal cliff” that we believe will be a concern in the fall of 2013.

 

We look forward to discussing the specifics of our budget request.

Looking for something fun to do this summer?  The Holbrook Varsity Cheerleader will be hosting their 2nd Annual Mini Bulldog Cheer Camp, June 24th to the 28th from 9am to 1pm at Holbrook JSHS.  Our girls are coming off of a competition year and look forward to sharing their knowledge and skills of cheerleading with their younger peers. 

This camp is open to children entering Kindergarten through 6th Grade.  Each day the campers will learn choreography, tumbling, facial expressions stunting and by weeks end, put on a show for their families and friends to enjoy.

Accountability standards in education require that we communicate with you yearly concerning our most recent performance.  This “Annual Report Card” to parents/guardians and community is to inform you of how your child’s school and district is performing.

Superintendent's FY 14 Budget Presentation to Community Members on December 4, 2012.  

Dear Families and Community Members:

 

The line-item budget will be posted on the district website by Friday, December 14th.  This will consist of the recommendations that I received from each department/school AND the final budget recommendation that I am making to the School Committee at the December 20th meeting.
